A coastal city of over 130,000 residents located in Broward County, Hollywood is nestled between Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

There is a major financial commitment to redevelop the downtown area called “Young Circle”. Major projects include the Broadwalk renovation project and to widen the beach.
Hollywood Beach just approved gambling after long dispute. You can find slot machines at the Hard Rock Café. The city gets about 50% of the proceeds. This in return will create more jobs, more publicity and more funding for additional infrastructure projects.
The Broadwalk, Florida Hollywood's beaches are recognized as "Blue Wave" Beaches, awarded by the clean beaches council of Washington D.C. as environmentally friendly waters. The Beach in Hollywood Florida also hosts cultural events such as the bi-monthly Broadwalk Friday Fest and the annual Red, White, and Bluegrass Festival. |
